Blueberry Walnut Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1 cup soy milk (unsweetened)
  • 3/4 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt (vanilla would also be good)
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries (I like wild blueberries)
  • 1/4 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen (or more blueberries)
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1 date (pit removed)
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a high powered blender.
  2. Blend for about 1 minute or until smooth
  3. Serves 2. Enjoy right away!
Notes
  • Feel free to use a flavored yogurt, I think vanilla would be good! 
  • If your blender isn't that strong I would recommend to soak the date in hot water to soften it.
  • If you don't have any dates, you could add a splash of honey or maple syrup. Feel free to leave this out if you don't need extra sweetness.
